How to prevent your dog from chewing

Destructive chewing is a very common problem that all dog owners face a certain point. It is important to understand that dogs, chewing is quite natural, especially in puppies or dogs still teething.

Although this is completely normal, it becomes a problem when your dog chews on expensive or dangerous objects. Chewing can also be dangerous for your dog if a piece of chewed material is sucked into the throat of the dogs, it could suffocate and die.

Chew dogs for different reasons, and if you want to stop dog chewing, it is important to identify what triggers this behavior.

A toy that many owners of dwarf hamsters of purchase is the hamster ball. These balls are made of clear plastic with small ventilation holes that can be removed and your pet is placed inside. Then you can sit and watch the run on the floor.

Have you stopped and considered what it might be like for your pet is placed inside one these balls? Dwarf hamsters do not like being confined in small spaces and could become frightened or fear and panic while inside trapped. Ask yourself this question – does this ball hamster ensure adequate air ventilation and adequate for your hamster when they are inside thereof? Even if they have small holes cut in the plastic, is it enough air for your pet?

Some people think it is actually quite inhumane to put your furry friend inside one of these balls.

What would you offer your pet with a toy that is fun for him.

Consider toys that are tunnels and tubes. Just make sure the diameter is at least 2 inches or more to create your dwarf hamster with a breakdown of the air. As the tunnels are short enough that your pet does not feel trapped or had no ventilation air as it could cause panic.

You do not have to spend much money on plastic, the colors Store your pet is. You can make your own tunnels PVC pipe from your local hardware store. Make sure there is no sharp edges or rough. You can even make from empty toilet rolls or paper towel. Another advantage for your pet is an exercise wheel solid, tailored to their small size, they can run free and burn calories!
