How do I get my dog to sleep in the dog house?

My dog will not sleep in his dog house. She prefers sleeping in the mud and grass, what can I do to get him to sleep in the dog house?

Your dog will sleep when it is more comfortable. If Please do not use blankets in the box which can be wet and cause mold which can cause fungal skin on your dog and also in winter if the dog is wet from snow or rain cover will be wet and not allow the dog to stay warm. Hay or straw is not the best thing to use so they can mold and fungi cause the skin of dogs. If you must use one of them, they must be changed daily. stall shavings, cedar shavings or pine shavings should be used. and must be changed at least once a week. we do not have our dogs outside all the time but we have boxes in the courtyard in case they need it, we came home one time and one dog was sitting in the rain and looks up at the sky, if your dog wants to use that box.
